How a Hidden Halo Is Built
A classic halo frames your center diamond and changes its outline from above. A hidden halo sits lower, around the head of the setting, so the outline you see first is your center diamond alone. The hidden halo follows the shape of your center: oval, round, emerald cut, marquise, cushion or another shape.
The band decides the rest of the look. On a plain band, as on the Casey, a hidden halo ring reads as a solitaire from above. With a pavé band, as on the Cameron with 0.40 carat of accent diamonds, the light continues from the hidden halo down both sides of the ring. On a split shank, as on the Layla, the band divides below the center diamond. None is more correct. Each changes where your eye goes first.

Every ring in this collection is designed by Lisa Robin in Dayton, Ohio and made to order in 14K yellow, white or rose gold or in platinum, with settings from $2,195 in 14K gold. Accent diamonds are lab grown, and your center diamond can be lab-grown or natural. Crafting takes approximately 3 to 4 weeks.
