The Sutton alternates setting styles around the 4mm band — some oval diamonds held in full bezels that wrap the stone's perimeter completely, others held in prong settings that lift the diamond above the band. The alternation creates a rhythm not just of diamonds but of setting textures: enclosed and open, framed and elevated, all carrying oval stones around the full circumference.

As an oval diamond eternity ring with mixed settings, the Sutton reads more visually complex than a single-setting eternity ring. The 4.4 carat total weight runs around the full band in this alternating pattern.
