Can I choose a sapphire color other than blue for the Sophia?

Yes. Sapphire runs across blue in every saturation from midnight to teal, plus yellow, pink, green, orange, peach, and the rare padparadscha. Select your sapphire on the site with pricing shown for each option. If you don't find the color you want there, we source it for you through a design appointment. The accent diamonds are colorless, so the setting does not change with the color you choose.

Will a lighter sapphire look washed out against the white diamonds?

No. The accents are small and gathered in trios rather than running continuously around the center, so they read as texture at the shoulders instead of a bright frame competing with the sapphire. Lighter saturations hold their color; deeper saturations gain edge definition from the same contrast.

Can the Sophia be worn with a wedding ring?

Yes — with a curved band. The basket sits flush against the finger, so a straight wedding ring leaves a gap beneath the sapphire, unless you prefer the space between them. A contoured band follows the outline of the setting and sits flat against it, shaped to your ring.
