Round with Beaded Edge Push Lock Necklace
The Sophia ring features a radiant center diamond with delicate botanical-inspired accents, blending classic elegance with romantic charm.
The Round with Beaded Edge Push Lock Necklace centers on a 14K gold round charm with a textured beaded perimeter. The beaded edge adds tactile detail without diamond setting.
The Piece
The round charm uses traditional beaded edge work — small repeating gold beads running along the perimeter — to add visual texture and tactile detail without diamond setting. The technique draws on antique jewelry vocabulary (milgrain-adjacent beading was used widely in Victorian and Edwardian pieces) while keeping the overall charm refined and contemporary. Polished gold center, textured gold edge, no diamond accents.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the push lock closure work?
The push lock closure is a small mechanism on the charm that opens when you press it from the side. Once open, the charm slides onto the split chain or off of it; once closed, the chain runs through the charm securely. The motion is quick and one-handed once you've felt it a few times. The closure is engineered to stay shut during daily wear and to open only with intentional pressure — so charms don't fall off, but they're not permanently attached either.
Can I wear multiple push lock charms on one chain, or one charm on different chains?
Yes — both are part of how the system is designed. Multiple push lock charms can run on the same chain, stacked or spaced as you like. A single charm can move between chains of different lengths and styles to change the look. The push lock charms are also compatible with chains from outside the collection, as long as the chain is thin enough to fit through the push lock opening. The system is built around flexibility rather than fixed pairings.
How does beaded edge differ from milgrain?
Beaded edge uses larger, more visible metal beads along the perimeter — typically the size of small grains. Milgrain uses much smaller continuous beads, often barely visible without close inspection. Both techniques add texture along edges of jewelry pieces. The beaded edge on this round charm reads as a tactile gold detail; milgrain reads as a refined texture. Both draw on vintage jewelry vocabulary while remaining contemporary in application.
