The Oval Push Lock Necklace centers on a smooth 14K gold oval charm available in three sizes — small, medium, or large. The push lock closure makes the charm easy to add, swap, or layer with other push lock pieces.

The Piece

The oval charm is solid 14K gold with a clean, polished surface — no diamond detail, no engraving — designed to read as a refined gold pendant. Three sizes let you choose how prominent the charm reads on the chain: small (about 10.6mm long) wears subtle; medium (about 15.3mm long) reads as a clear focal point; large (about 24.5mm long) makes a statement. The oval's smooth surface pairs well with diamond-set push lock charms on the same chain for layered contrast.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the push lock closure work?

The push lock closure is a small mechanism on the charm that opens when you press it from the side. Once open, the charm slides onto the split chain or off of it; once closed, the chain runs through the charm securely. The motion is quick and one-handed once you've felt it a few times. The closure is engineered to stay shut during daily wear and to open only with intentional pressure — so charms don't fall off, but they're not permanently attached either.

Can I wear multiple push lock charms on one chain, or one charm on different chains?

Yes — both are part of how the system is designed. Multiple push lock charms can run on the same chain, stacked or spaced as you like. A single charm can move between chains of different lengths and styles to change the look. The push lock charms are also compatible with chains from outside the collection, as long as the chain is thin enough to fit through the push lock opening. The system is built around flexibility rather than fixed pairings.

Which size of the Oval Push Lock Necklace should I choose?

Small works for layering beneath other necklaces or wearing as a barely-there detail. Medium is the most versatile size — visible without dominating a stack. Large reads as a statement piece worn alone or paired with smaller charms on the same chain. Some people own multiple sizes and rotate them based on outfit; the push lock system makes the swap quick. We discuss size selection during the order if you want guidance.

The Push Lock Necklace Edit

Infinitely flexible push lock necklace. Imagine every way you'll wear it.

The push lock charm is where the design begins. Choose from geometric shapes — hexagon, oval, rectangle, rhombus, triangle, round — or distinctive forms like padlocks and paper clips. Each charm is 14K gold, and many carry diamond detail along the perimeter, scattered across the surface, or set in clusters. The push lock closure is built into every charm, opening with a press to attach or detach from a chain without tools or assistance.

The included split chain is sized to the charm and opens at the push lock for easy on and off. Beyond the included chain, every push lock charm works with thin gold chains in any style — cable, paper clip, curb, or rope — and at any length from choker to layered long. Shorter chains (16–18") wear the charm high near the collarbone. Longer chains (20–24") let the charm hang lower for layering or solo wear. Multiple chain lengths build the foundation of a flexible collection.

The push lock holds more than one charm. Layer multiple push locks with multiple charms on the same chain for stacked geometric character. Mix diamond push locks with plain gold for visual variation. Add diamonds, initials, birthstones, or anniversary shapes that mark specific moments. The chain becomes the constant; the charms tell the story. You don't have to commit to a single look — swap charms in and out as the day or the year changes.

The push lock necklace is part of The Lisa Robin Edit — pieces curated for lifetime wear and multi-way styling. Build your collection one push lock and one chain at a time. Wear a single push lock on a simple gold chain for daily detail, layer three push locks across two chain lengths for evening, or pair a push lock with other Lisa Robin necklaces — solitaires, lariats, chains — for a layered look that's uniquely yours. The pieces work together because they're designed to.
