The Trilogy Rustic Diamond Ring sets three brown rose cut rustic diamonds in 14K rose gold bezels along a textured, oxidized sterling silver shank — 6.5 carats in a rich red-brown. Three diamonds, read the traditional way: past, present, and future. Rustic diamonds are natural diamonds carrying the organic character that conventional cutting removes — opaque, earthy, and individual, so these three could never be matched again. Handmade and one of a kind.

What is a rustic diamond?

A rustic diamond is a natural diamond with the organic character that conventional cutting and grading remove — inclusions, opacity, and earthy natural color. It's a real diamond, formed the same way, simply not sorted toward colorless clarity. That's what makes each one individual: the color and pattern in a rustic diamond can't be specified or repeated.

What is a rose cut, and how does it look different?

A rose cut has a flat base and a faceted dome on top, with far fewer facets than a modern brilliant. It gives a soft, low glow rather than rapid sparkle — an older look, and the right one for rustic diamonds, because it shows the color and character of the diamond instead of trying to make it flash.

This ring is a size 7 — can it be adjusted, or made again?

It can be adjusted up or down a half size. Beyond that it can't be resized, and it can't be remade — these particular rustic diamonds are the ones set in this ring, and another set would look different. If size 7 or a half size either way doesn't work for you, bring it to a design appointment and we'll talk about designing something around rustic diamonds chosen for you.

Our guided approach to customizing each ring with intention and clarity.

Every Lisa Robin ring is made to order, which means your design can be thoughtfully refined—even when ordering online. Whether you’re adjusting a detail or evolving the design, we guide you through each decision to ensure the final piece feels cohesive and entirely yours.

Design Refinements can be explored after your initial order, with any pricing adjustments clearly outlined and approved before crafting begins.

Refinement options include but are not limited to:

  • Adjusting the width or taper of the band (shank)
  • Modifying or adding side diamonds for additional detail or presence
  • Changing the prong style (claw, round, double prong, etc.)
  • Adjusting the number of prongs for both aesthetic and structure
  • Refining the basket design for a different profile or overall look
  • Selecting your preferred metal type and color
  • Adapting the design to better coordinate with a wedding ring

The Trilogy Rustic Diamond Ring

A rustic diamond is a natural diamond that was never sorted out for clarity. The inclusions, the opacity, the earthy color — what conventional grading treats as flaws — are the whole point. No two are alike, and none of them look like the diamond you're expecting.

Rose cut is the older way of cutting: a flat base with a faceted dome above it, far fewer facets than a brilliant. The result glows rather than flashes, which suits rustic diamonds — the cut shows the material instead of working against it. Here that's 6.5 carats in a rich red-brown.

The setting plays those warm tones against a cool one. The shank is sterling silver, textured and oxidized to a dark finish, so it recedes and lets the 14K rose gold bezels and the diamonds carry the ring. It's handmade and one of a kind — there isn't a second one.

Design Process

The Lisa Robin Design Experience

A thoughtful process designed to bring clarity and confidence to the creation of your ring.

Online Ordering

Order your engagement ring through a clearly guided online experience, supported by in-depth educational resources throughout the website. If you’d like to personalize the setting, simply place your order—we’ll follow up to refine the details and align everything with your preferences.

Private Design Appointments

For a more collaborative experience, work with us one-on-one, either in person or virtually. We’ll guide you through each decision in real time, shaping your engagement ring with clarity and intention.

This ring is offered complete. The center is already selected and included in the price, so there's nothing further for you to source or choose.

Where the center is a one-of-a-kind gemstone, we'll send you an image of the actual gemstone before it's set — so you see the exact piece going into your ring rather than a representative photograph.

Before your ring is hand-crafted, you’ll review detailed renderings created using your diamond’s dimensions. Multiple views allow proportions and design details to be carefully reviewed, and you’ll approve the design before crafting begins. If a wedding ring is selected on the same order, renderings will also show the rings individually and together so you can see how they pair.

Once your design is approved, your ring is hand-crafted specifically for you and typically completed in about three weeks.
