The Galaeth and Maeve Diamond Wedding Set

The Galaeth and Maeve set pairs a constellation cluster engagement ring with a milgrain chevron wedding ring. The scatter that travels down the Galaeth's shank continues into the Maeve's beading, so the two read as one line.

Metal Options 14K Yellow Gold, 14K White Gold, 14K Rose Gold, or Platinum. Sustainably sourced.
Center Diamond Cushion cut lab created, selected from the Global Diamond Collection
Constellation Accents 0.12 carat — trios flanking each side, singles at north and south
Milgrain-Set Accents Four 1.5mm diamonds — two on each side of the engagement ring band
Wedding Ring Diamond Total Weight 0.06 carat
Setting Diamond Quality Lab grown VS–SI1, E-F-G
Style Constellation cluster engagement ring with milgrain chevron wedding ring
Setting Four rounded prongs on the engagement ring; prong-set accents within milgrain on both bands
Band 1.2mm engagement ring, 1.5mm wedding ring
Setting Height Low
Crafting Time Approximately 3-4 weeks

Both settings together start at $3,190 in 14K gold and $3,890 in platinum. The center diamond is selected separately — online or during a design appointment.

Can I buy the Galaeth and the Maeve separately?

Yes. Both are offered as individual rings, and the set is here because they were designed to sit together. Buying the set means the metal, the milgrain and the diamond quality are matched from the start. If you would rather add the wedding ring later, that works too — the Maeve is made to the same specification whenever you order it.

Why does a chevron band nest better than a straight one?

A straight band meets the engagement ring at its widest point — the setting — and stops there, leaving a gap beneath. A chevron dips away from the setting and rises on either side of it, so the two rings touch along their whole length. On the Galaeth, whose setting sits low, that contact is what makes the pair read as one ring rather than two.

Which center diamond suits the Galaeth setting?

The setting is built around a cushion cut, and the proportions are deliberate — a substantial center on a fine band, so the band nearly disappears and the diamond reads as suspended. You can choose your center from the Global Diamond Collection, and we can look at options together during a design appointment before anything is ordered.

Our guided approach to customizing each ring with intention and clarity.

Every Lisa Robin ring is made to order, which means your design can be thoughtfully refined—even when ordering online. Whether you’re adjusting a detail or evolving the design, we guide you through each decision to ensure the final piece feels cohesive and entirely yours.

Design Refinements can be explored after your initial order, with any pricing adjustments clearly outlined and approved before crafting begins.

Refinement options include but are not limited to:

  • Adjusting the width or taper of the band (shank)
  • Modifying or adding side diamonds for additional detail or presence
  • Changing the prong style (claw, round, double prong, etc.)
  • Adjusting the number of prongs for both aesthetic and structure
  • Refining the basket design for a different profile or overall look
  • Selecting your preferred metal type and color
  • Adapting the design to better coordinate with a wedding ring

The Galaeth and Maeve Diamond Wedding Set

Most wedding rings are chosen after the engagement ring, and it shows — a straight band against a raised setting leaves a gap, and two different edge treatments never quite agree.

The Galaeth and the Maeve were drawn to solve that. The Galaeth's constellation scatter travels down its milgrain band; the Maeve's chevron rises exactly where the Galaeth's setting sits, so the two meet flush and the beading continues across both rings.

This set is for you if you're drawn to the Galaeth's scattered-diamond design and want a wedding ring built to nest against it, not a plain band chosen after the fact. Worn apart, each ring still holds its own.

Frequently Asked Questions About Lisa Robin Engagement Rings

Lisa Robin designs custom and made-to-order engagement rings across every major style — solitaire, halo, hidden halo, side stone, three stone, cluster, bezel, east-west, vintage, and twist. Each design can be set with a colorless diamond, a colored diamond, or a colored gemstone, in any shape, in 14K gold or platinum.
Settings in this collection start at $2,095. Paired with a 1 carat lab grown diamond center, a starting engagement ring is approximately $2,995. Final pricing depends on the design, the metal, and the diamond or gemstone you choose. Colored gemstone pricing varies by gem type, color, and origin, which we discuss during the design process.
Yes. You can personalize any design online — diamond, metal, and finger size — or book a private design appointment by Zoom, phone, or in studio to modify a design or create one from scratch. Lisa guides you through the process and you see renderings of your ring before it is crafted.
Each ring is made to order and ready in approximately 3-4 weeks from the time your design is approved.
Both are real diamonds with identical physical and optical properties. A lab grown diamond is created in a controlled setting and generally lets you reach a larger or higher-quality diamond for the same budget. A natural diamond forms over geologic time. The choice is yours.
It depends on how you want the diamond to sit on your hand. A solitaire puts the diamond first; a halo makes it read larger; a hidden halo adds sparkle only seen from the side; a bezel gives the most secure, modern line; a cluster or twist makes a more individual statement. Because every design is hand-crafted to your diamond, you can pair most styles with most shapes.
All four — 14K yellow, white, and rose gold, and platinum — wear well for daily use. White gold and platinum give the brightest, most neutral backdrop for a diamond. Yellow and rose gold add warmth around the center. The best choice is the tone you want to see on your hand.
