Metal width: Most twist wedding bands have a designed width. Slight variations (narrower or wider by 0.5mm) can be discussed during the design conversation if your hand proportion calls for it.

Engraving: Interior engraving is available on all twist wedding bands at no additional charge. Typical engraving is the wedding date, initials, or a short phrase. Engraving doesn't affect the exterior twist construction.

Custom twist designs: If the 5 designs in this collection don't match your vision, Lisa can design a custom twist wedding band — different number of strands, different helix tightness, different diamond patterns through the construction. Custom designs are crafted in 3-4 weeks after design approval.

Care and Lifetime Service for Twist Wedding Bands

Twist wedding bands made in gold or platinum are designed for lifetime daily wear. The construction is structurally sound — the intertwined strands are bonded together where they meet, not just visually entwined — so the band holds its shape through years of wear.

For daily care: remove the ring before heavy manual work, gym workouts with weights, gardening, or activities involving harsh chemicals. Clean weekly with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, paying attention to the spaces between the twist strands where debris can accumulate. Annual professional cleaning keeps the diamonds bright and removes any oils or residue that build up over time.

Twist wedding bands can be resized within a reasonable range (typically 2-3 sizes up or down). The resize involves cutting through the band, adjusting the diameter, and rejoining — the twist construction is preserved through the process. For diamond-set twist bands, some diamonds may need to be reset depending on how much size adjustment is required. We handle resizing through our New York workshop.

Each ring is made-to-order: the metal is alloyed, the strands are formed, the twist is constructed, and the diamonds (if applicable) are set, all in sequence for your specific order.

Crafting time is approximately 2-3 weeks for standard twist wedding bands and 3-4 weeks for custom twist designs. We ship to all 50 US states; international shipping is available on request.
