The Kingsley positions a marquise diamond off-center, cantilevered above the pavé band rather than centered on it. The diamond floats toward one side, its full elongated length reading uninterrupted across the finger, while a hidden halo of small accent diamonds set beneath the center catches light from the side and reflects it upward into the marquise. This version comes complete in 14k white gold with a one-carat lab-created marquise center.

Metal 14k White Gold
Center Diamond 1 carat lab-created marquise, VS1, F
Style Off-center marquise diamond engagement ring
Setting Six rounded prongs with hidden halo
Band 1.85mm
Setting Height Medium
Band Profile Diamond pavé
Crafting Time Approximately 3-4 weeks

The Kingsley is $2,995, complete with its 1 carat lab-created marquise center in 14k white gold.

What makes this setting stand out visually?

The marquise center is set off-center and cantilevered — it floats toward one side above the pavé band rather than sitting squarely in the middle, so its full one-carat length reads uninterrupted across the finger. Beneath it, a hidden halo of small accent diamonds catches light from the side, and the 1.85mm pavé band carries brilliance along the shank. The asymmetry is what sets it apart from a conventional centered marquise.

How will this ring pair with a wedding band?

Because the marquise sits cantilevered above the band rather than low against it, a straight wedding band can sit close along the pavé shank. The off-center float leaves room beside the center, so a plain or pavé band lines up cleanly without crowding the marquise. If you'd prefer a contoured band shaped to the setting, we can plan that together during your design appointment.

What should I consider when choosing this style?

This Kingsley comes complete with a 1 carat marquise lab grown diamond, VS1 clarity and F color, so the center is already set rather than selected. The marquise is an elongated, pointed shape — consider whether you prefer that dramatic line over a rounder cut, knowing its points are framed and protected by the setting. The off-center, modern silhouette suits you if you want something less traditional than a centered solitaire.

Our guided approach to customizing each ring with intention and clarity.

Every Lisa Robin ring is made to order, which means your design can be thoughtfully refined—even when ordering online. Whether you’re adjusting a detail or evolving the design, we guide you through each decision to ensure the final piece feels cohesive and entirely yours.

Design refinements can be explored after your initial order, with any pricing adjustments clearly outlined and approved before crafting begins.

Refinement options include:

  • Adjusting the width or taper of the band (shank)
  • Modifying or adding side diamonds for additional detail or presence
  • Changing the prong style (claw, round, double prong, etc.)
  • Adjusting the number of prongs for both aesthetic and structure
  • Refining the basket design for a different profile or overall look
  • Selecting your preferred metal type and color
  • Adapting the design to better coordinate with a wedding ring

THE KINGSLEY

The Kingsley sets a 1 carat marquise-cut lab grown diamond off-center above a pavé band, so its full elongated length reads uninterrupted across your finger. A hidden halo beneath the center reflects light up into the diamond, while the off-center placement gives this complete 14k white gold ring its quietly modern, asymmetric line.

Design Process

The Lisa Robin Design Experience

A thoughtful process designed to bring clarity and confidence to the creation of your ring.

Online Ordering

Order your engagement ring through a clearly guided online experience, supported by in-depth educational resources throughout the website. If you’d like to personalize the setting, simply place your order—we’ll follow up to refine the details and align everything with your preferences.

Private Design Appointments

For a more collaborative experience, work with us one-on-one, either in person or virtually. We’ll guide you through each decision in real time, shaping your engagement ring with clarity and intention.

This ring is offered complete. The center is already selected and included in the price, so there's nothing further for you to source or choose.

Where the center is a one-of-a-kind gemstone, we'll send you an image of the actual gemstone before it's set — so you see the exact piece going into your ring rather than a representative photograph.

Before your ring is hand-crafted, you’ll review detailed renderings created using your diamond’s dimensions. Multiple views allow proportions and design details to be carefully reviewed, and you’ll approve the design before crafting begins. If a wedding ring is selected on the same order, renderings will also show the rings individually and together so you can see how they pair.

Once your design is approved, your ring is hand-crafted specifically for you and typically completed in about three weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions About Lab-Grown Diamond Engagement Rings

Lab-grown diamond engagement rings feature diamonds that are created in a laboratory rather than mined from the earth. At Lisa Robin, each diamond becomes the centerpiece of a ring designed not just for you, but with you, putting personal story, intention, and artistry at the heart of every setting.
Lab-grown diamonds are formed using advanced technological processes that replicate the natural conditions under which diamonds develop. There are two primary methods: High Pressure-High Temperature (HPHT) and Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD). Crystals with the same physical and chemical properties as mined diamonds, ready to be shaped into your story’s singular spark.
Absolutely. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, both chemically and optically identical to those sourced from the earth. Your engagement ring carries the same brilliance and durability, but with a layer of intentionality and transparency that feels distinctly modern.
Generally, yes. Lab-grown diamonds are typically priced lower than comparable natural diamonds, which means more of your budget can go toward the aspects that matter most to you. For example, these extra funds are usually allocated to the size and quality of your diamond. Custom settings are not inherently more expensive than standard ones, so choosing a lab diamond simply gives you greater flexibility to create a ring that feels personal and beautifully aligned with your vision.
To the naked eye, and even with traditional jewelers' tools, lab-grown and natural diamonds are indistinguishable. Only sophisticated laboratory equipment can reveal their origin. What stands out in a Lisa Robin ring is always the story you share, not its source.
Lab-grown diamonds are widely recognized as a more ethical and environmentally gentle choice. At Lisa Robin, we are committed to ethical sourcing and transparency across all materials, championing lab diamonds as a conscious design decision that aligns with your values as much as your style.
Lab-grown diamonds can have natural inclusions, just like mined diamonds. Each diamond—whether mined or cultivated—has its own unique birthmark, adding one more detail to celebrate in your one-of-a-kind ring. Our design team will guide you in selecting a stone that resonates with you in every aspect.
