The hammered texture on the Townes is applied across the full outer surface — small, overlapping metal impressions that create a faceted, organic pattern. Each impression catches light at a slightly different angle, giving the hammered gold band a warm, diffused luminosity distinct from polished or brushed finishes. The wider versions show more surface for the pattern to develop.

The hammered wedding band surface conceals fine scratches better than high polish because the existing texture integrates new marks naturally.
