A Halo Softened into Petals

Most halos are a closed ring. The Jaylin's is four clusters of three diamonds set at the quadrants, with open space between them — a flower rather than an outline.

Morganite is the most literal reading of that structure. Blush pink surrounded by white petals is a flower rendered almost exactly — where other centers create tension with the floral form, morganite simply agrees with it.

It's beryl, the same mineral as emerald and aquamarine, colored by manganese rather than chromium or iron. At 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs scale it's softer than sapphire, and the cluster halo earns its place: the four groups stand proud at the quadrants and take contact a flat halo would pass to the gemstone.
