No halo, no accents, no shoulder detail — just a band that tapers from 1.4mm to 1.3mm and four prongs lifting the ruby clear of the metal. Every element that isn't the center has been removed, which means the color has nowhere to hide and nothing to share the attention with.

Ruby is the gemstone that can hold that.
