Luxe October 11, 2018

Have you heard? Luxe is the new retail experience in Dayton, Ohio. Set in a 4500 square foot urban venue located in Downtown Dayton, Luxe is a shopping experience that assembles carefully curated independent brands and pops up for a spectacular one-day event. That means twice a year, Spring and Fall, Luxe reassembles itself -from the space to the merchandise – with the goal to give back to the local community.

Buckingham Financial Services will present Luxe on October 11, 2018, from 2 PM to 8 PM and is proud to introduce the new revitalized urban Brightside Music and Event Venue as our location at 907 E 3rd St, downtown Dayton. Complimentary valet parking has been sponsored by Bob Ross Auto Group. This event benefits Clothes That Work and Pink Ribbon Driven.

Supported by Affinity Salon and Day Spa and Spouses Who Sell Houses, Jill and Scott Ferguson of ERA Real Solutions, the event experience will include EAT food truck, and a cash bar. At 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM, Jody McGrath of The Look of You will present “How or Dress For Your Body Shape in 1...2…Done”. And from 5 PM to 8 PM Core Acoustic will play live music.

Your entrance to the event is via the Luxe Shopping Pass. The pass will entitle you to discounts and specials offered by our boutiques. A fabulous selection of raffle prizes have been donated and raffle tickets will be sold at the event. You do not need to be present to win. The pass is $20 and can be purchased in advance at luxedayton.com.

So how did it get started? Founded by Lisa Robin Adkinson, designer of Lisa Robin Jewelry and Valerie Jones, Portage Handbags designer, the idea is to create a retail concept specifically focused on fashion, accessories, and beauty brands, that would serve as a matchmaker between independent designers and consumers, integrating an opportunity for shoppers to learn and enjoy new experiences. For each event, a non-profit is selected as the beneficiary. Brands are asked to give a portion of sales to benefit the selected non-profit.

For brands, each bi-annual event becomes a great opportunity for the designers to introduce new products and work with consumers one on one to customize or innovate new products. For consumers, Luxe is an engaging experience to share with friends, learn from, and interact with designers while discovering new products. All participants get the opportunity to learn more about the beneficiaries at the event. The non-profits not only benefit financially but build exposure with an audience of consumers who care. The Luxe Boutique from Clothes That Work will be selling, as well as, Pink Ribbon Driven will have their logo wear available. Proceeds will directly benefit each organization.

Our vendor boutiques include accessory brands Lisa Robin Jewelry, Portage Handbags, L Michael Tie Rings & Accessories, Karen Kurak Woven Goods and Hand Dyed Silks and Chapeau Couture Hats. Clothing brands include Coral Marie, Chic & Unique, Mira Rae, and Amber Row. Cincinnati based integrated skincare brand, Arkadiance will be in attendance, as well as The Look of You.

In-kind sponsors include Claire Cross photography, Primetime Party Rental, Furst Florist, and EB Social Butterfly.
