A few months ago I invited Tami over to the studio. We hit it off immediately and talked for two hours about our respective businesses. She's creative, smart, and we brainstormed a number of ideas on how we might work together. That conversation prompted me to rethink some projects I already had in the works.
From the beginning, my jewelry concept has been focused on flexibility. I like items that can be worn in different ways and many of my designs meet that objective. But to be honest with you, it has always been difficult to represent the flexibility on the website or in emails. So we have been working on a style guide to show wearers some of the options they have in how they might wear pieces.
Tami Doling uses a "capsule wardrobe" concept when she works with Silver Lining Organizing clients. It's brilliant. She has a series of questions to identify your style and then can focus your wardrobe to eliminate those pieces you bought but will never wear. I have a pretty good sense of my style but after answering the questions I had an ah ha moment about those items I purchased and love but never wear.
We have aligned our style guide to the style concepts Tami is using and it works beautifully. The style guide is divided up into capsule collections that will mix and match as well as give you flexibility.
I have invited Tami to hang out with us at my next "Open Studio". She will help you define your style and share some tips on how to build your own capsule wardrobe. I am so excited she has agreed to share with all of us! I will look forward to seeing you. Please send me a note to let me know you will attend. text to 513-702-6884 or email email@example.com.
